LEADERSHIP

Dr. Ryan Johnson
Lead Pastor
Pastor Ryan and his wife Megan planted New City Church from scratch in 2015. He has four children, Tatum, Caden, Roman, and Maggie. Preaching the Word of God, casting vision, pastoral care, and oversight of the organization are just some of the ways that Ryan provides servant leadership of this church.

Patrick & Erica Choi
Youth Ministry
Patrick and Erica are developing a vibrant ministry for Junior High and Senior High students. They have one daughter, Haven and another child on the way. In addition to working with youth at New City Church, Patrick and Erica work for Youth For Christ in Gwinnett County. Developing discipleship relationships with young people - whether they are new to the faith or learning to make their parents' faith their own - is the primary way they serve. Erica is a part of the worship team and Patrick is a part of the preaching team.

Cheri Ryan
GLOBAL MISSIONS | ADMINISTRATION
Cheri has had an integral role helping New City Church transition from being a portable church plant to an established church within the community. She and her husband Mark have two daughters, Hannah and Amelia. Keeping things organized and running smoothly is her primary challenge at New City Church, but she is also helping us develop our global ministry focus as well. Cheri also manages our social media presence and our church facility.

Phil White
WORSHIP MINISTRY
Phil has been with New City Church, developing a team of worship leaders, since the very beginning. He and his wife Catrina have five children, Mariel, Audrilyn, Weston, Grant, and Russell and are guardians for their nephew Damion. The production of the Sunday morning Worship Gathering, as well as the care and development of the worship team, is Phil's primary focus at New City Church. As a ruling elder, Phil also provides leadership and shepherding oversight for the organization as a part of the Session.

E. Brandon Dean
PASTORAL ASSISTANT | COMMUNICATIONS | ENGAGEMENT
Brandon has been a part of New City Church since before it was planted. He and his wife Alisha have two grown daughters, Halle and Maddy. Liturgy, communications, engagement/hospitality, and pastoral care are Brandon's primary areas of focus at the church. He provides leadership and shepherding oversight as a ruling elder on the Session. Brandon is also a member of the preaching team.
